Here’s what Jim Suptic had to say about the album…

“What I really enjoyed about recording Strays is that it was done in just a few days. We went into the studio with all the songs well rehearsed from playing them live. It had been a long time since I had made a record that way. It was refreshing and gave the album a sense of urgency.”

- Jim Suptic

Rob Castellon speaks on how Washed Up Emo was partially responsible for connecting the band with Wiretap.

"To tell you the truth, Tom Mullen is partially responsible for connecting the band with Wiretap for this release. After a post or tweet Tom sent out I believe that Josh saw, Josh reached out to me via email and we began a conversation. It was an absolute no brainer for me to get behind a record featuring members from two bands I deeply love (The Get Up Kids and The Anniversary). The record is amazing. Having interned at Vagrant in the early 00's, things often come full circle in life." - Rob Castellon (Wiretap)
