Leave it to Canada to Misunderstand J.D. Salinger and EMO!

Chart Attack recently did a Top 10 on why J.D. Salinger was cool. Mr. Salinger, who you should know, passed away this week and wrote an amazing book "The Catcher in the Rye". In the process of the horrendous list they added this gem at number five:

"5. Emo Music — The Catcher In The Rye is largely accepted as one of the four pillars of the "emo" music genre (the other three being eyeliner, parents not understanding you and break-ups)."

Where did you get this info Chart Attack? Sounds more like goth to me, you kids up north LOVE My Chemical Romance. Regardless, Canada, you and your obsession with The Tea Party and Barenaked Ladies has me doubting your musical tastes everyday.
